Ranch in Chubut Province:
Area: 1,650 hectares
Location: It is situated in the “Cushamen” Department, in the “Cajón de Cholila” spot, next to Number 15 Provincial Road, 100 km away from Esquel airport and 210 km from San Carlos de Bariloche
Improvements: The ranch is partially enclosed by a wire fence: the front - the part that faces the provincial access road - and the sides have been wired, but the back of the ranch has no fencing. It has electricity and natural gas.
Characteristics: the ranch is located in the Andes Mountain Range and there is a mixture of valleys - which can be easily irrigated - gentle hills, marshes and ravines - which are sometimes surrounded by rocky walls. There are all-year-round streams and a fresh water lagoon. Among the local tree specimens, there are: southern beeches, nothofagus (“radales”, “ñires”, etc) and on the stream banks you can see poplar trees and willows. Moreover, there are abundant natural pastures which are used for the summer cattle grazing.
Many years ago, this ranch was used to grow wheat. The area is also suitable for other agricultural activities such as pastures, alfalfa, fruit trees, etc. All this land is ideal for afforestation not only because of the good quality of the soil, but also due to the amount of rainfall, which varies from 600 to 800 mm per year.
Going up the valley, there is a breathtaking view of the Pellegrini Lake. The ranch also offers the possibility to be used as a games preserve.

Características: superficie de cordillera donde se combinan valles perfectamente irrigable, cerros, suaves lomadas, mallines y cañadones, a veces enmarcados por muros de rocas. Arroyos permanentes y una laguna componen la disponibilidad de agua. Entre la vegetación nativa se destacan maitenes, coihues, radales, lauras y ñires, además de álamos y sauces sobre las riberas de los arroyos. Abundantes pasturas naturales permiten el veraneo de hacienda vacuna.
Antiguamente era una zona donde se cultivaba trigo y que es apta también para otras actividades agrícolas como pasturas, alfalfa, árboles frutales, etc. Toda la extensión es ideal para forestación tanto por la calidad del suelo como por el régimen de lluvias que varía entre los 600 y los 800 mm anuales.
A partir del segundo plano elevado que continua al valle se tiene una excelente vista hacia el lago Pellegrini.El campo ofrece también la posibilidad de su explotación como coto de caza
